The Tamaracks Resort is a rustic chic Montana resort nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in North Western Montana. With 30+ acres on the north shores of Seeley Lake, this beautiful woodland resort offers 17 individual cabins, 3 pop up camp sites, 10 RV spots and 2 tent areas. Services such as massage, YOGA, dinner boat cruises, live music events, holiday events, day use areas, adventure rentals and so much more. Because of our versatility our front desk staff answers a lot of questions about the resort and surrounding area. 


Our accommodations department is currently hiring for some front desk positions!! We are looking for individuals that are eager to learn about being part of our dedicated Cabin Keeping Team. Learning from the Cabin Leads and Master Cabin Keeper on how to properly prepare and clean any of the accommodation options we offer to our guests. Our Cabin Keepers work in teams, so the ability to engage with co-workers in a positive and supportive manner is a must. The Cabin Keeper position may require cleaning while guests are present and does require working around guest personal items. Individuals must always be well groomed, and eager to assist guests with questions or concerns in a humble and kind manor. Attention to detail is a must while also maintaining the pace required to accomplish the days tasks. The Cabin Keepers must have a keen sense of attention to detail, a genuine desire to serve in the hospitality industry with a positive attitude, they should enjoy working as part of a team, and have the ability to work efficiently to meet established deadlines.

20% of the filled positions are offered annually and 80% are seasonal.


Brief job description

  • Maintain warm, welcoming and professional demeanor when interacting with all guests and inquiries on the phone, in person, via social media and through email.

  • Use proper grammar and spelling in all email correspondence.

  • Respond to emails, phone calls and social media inquiries promptly.

  • Ensure that all Resort and reservation information is accurately communicated to guests.

  • Promote and sell all Resort revenue-generating activities, lodging and guest-enrichment amenities.

  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of Resort information and amenities.

  • Act as liaison between the guests and departments on guest inquiries, ensuring follow through,          completion and resolve.

  • Converse with guests at a high level, being aware of their needs and fulfill special guest requests as  instructed by management or the guests directly.

  • Ensure confidentiality of guests before and throughout their stay.

  • Assist with guest service issues accurately and promptly.

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail at all time.

  • Communicate and maintain timelines and priorities.

  • Complete all Reservations projects as assigned.

  • Follow and complete daily department checklists.

  • Compile data and reports as needed.


Skill Set & Desired interest

  • An appreciation for travel and a mindset that you will treat all guests as to how you would like to be        treated while on a once in a lifetime vacation.   

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office?Google applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint &         GSuite)

  • Proficient ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and      prioritizing workload throughout the day

  • Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Wage: $11.00/hr.; plus $3.00/hr. bonus opportunities; possible salaried position after 3 years
